With the advent of readily-accessible technology, artists -- from MFA students to established artists -- are able to push the boundaries of their medium using a digital toolkit. Join us for a discussion with museum directors from throughout and beyond the Bay Area as they discuss the way technology has changed the way they collect and exhibit art, and how it has altered the visitor experience, while escaping into space in the discussion on the “Orbital Reflector”, an artwork that will be launched into space in mid-2018 on a rocket owned by Elon Musks’ SpaceX.
