Public art has become an increasingly important part of urban planning and development. City leaders often turn to the art world to help create public spaces that offer the chance for reflection and meditation on new ideas. Burning Man Board Member Jennifer Raiser will be in conversation with two Burning Man artists about how to create experiential art that resonates with a community and explore the yearly pilgrimage of the tech elite - supposedly including tech giants such as Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg - to the Nevada desert. Together they will talk about engaging communities, and creating art that is poignant and powerful, but that also brings people together.
