Josh Constine is the Editor-At-Large for TechCrunch, where he's written thousands of blog posts about tech giants and startups over the past seven years with focuses on social networks, early stage startups, and marketing technology. Previously, Constine was the Lead Writer for Inside Facebook and Inside Network, helping it to be acquired in 2011. Constine attended Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Sociology and a Master's degree in Cybersociology -- a program he designed. There, Constine studied privacy controls, meme popularity cycles, anonymity, trolling, and more about how humans interact over the Internet. Since 2010, Constine has moderated over 100 on-stage talks in 13 countries with notable figures including Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, whistleblower Edward Snowden (via video chat), and U.S. Senator Cory Booker. He has judged hackathons around the country as well as in Singapore and the Philippines. His work has been cited by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the BBC, and more, and he's been featured on Good Morning, America, NPR, and China Central Television. Constine has had over 1000 of his scoops and thought pieces featured on prestigious tech news curator Techmeme.
